Developed during the "2024 Winter Melon Game Jam". Wizard Wars is a 2D Pixel Boss-Rush in which players control a wizard character and navigate through generated levels while defeating powerful bosses. Additional mechanics include state tracking to handle both a shop and a save function.
Implemented a FPGA-based Pac-Man game, operable with USB-in/VGA-out, processed by a NIOS II core. Wrote SystemVerilog for the following elements: Pac-Man/Ghosts, Fruits, VGA Controller, Color Mapper, and HexDrivers
Conducted a case study to compare the visual difference in using Gaussian Blur versus a Bilateral Filter. Authored a research paper and presented findings for reducing the halo effect during the image filtering process.
Developed during the "2020 Pulse Visions Hardware Hackathon". Constructed a pure hardware model of a “Battleships” style game. Our model consisted of SR latches, Tri-State Buffer, Photo-resistors, LEDs, and a custom laser-printed base.
